Part II How to Defend Against a Backhand Club Attack 5. Although you don’t have a perfectly clear shot at the groin you can slightly hook your knee to make good contact to the groin or bladder area. Continue with the knee strikes until you feel your attacker is incapable of continuing his attack. All the time keeping a good tight grip on the weapon holding arm.
6. Then, sliding your rear hand (in this case right) over the top of his arm and down to his hand. Bring your other arm over the top of his, toward his weapon holding wrist.
7. Grab his wrist with your forward (in this case left) hand and push downward while pulling the weapon in a direction of his head. Twist your body back to your right (counter clockwise). This will release the weapon.
8. You are now in control of a weakened attacker and the weapon in hand.
