Defending Against a Side Wrist Grab (pinky up).

How to Defend Against a Side Wrist Grab (pinky up).
- The other side wrist grab is with the pinky up. The normal step back and pull will not work here because you would be pulling against the entire hand and fingers, as opposed to just the thumb.
- Instead you need to lean in toward the attacker and bring your elbow over the to of his forearm.
- Now pushing down on your elbow and leaning in, break the hold.
- Once the hold is broken you could either run, counter attack or if the situation is not dangerous, perhaps go into strong verbal defenses.
